Director / branch manager Kiremko Beijing
Kiremko and Tolsma-Grisnich, two leading companies in the potato sector, have a jointly operated office in Beijing to service the China market, operating under the official name Kiremko (Beijing) Trading Co.Ltd. Our product portfolio includes engineering and equipment, manufacturing of potato stores, potato handling machines and potato processing equipment. Main operations are based in the Netherlands. The China office is responsable for after sales activities.
WAT GA JE DOEN?
Main responsibilities:
- Managing financial affairs of the company's business, including P&L account
- Maintain the established market leadership by managing client relationships
- Working with administrative service companies, banks and government bureaus for financial and tax issues
- Dealing with government agencies and making sure that all administration is in order
- Lead the local team for the spare parts business with Chinese customers
- Manage operations of office, storage and spare parts stock
- Upgrading documentations and administration of Kiremko Beijing
- Supervising customs clearance process of imported equipment, inland shipping of equipment and spare parts as carried out by the office team
- Coordinating domestic flight bookings, hotels, arrangements with customers and translations on behalf of the Dutch offices and for incoming Dutch staff
- General office management

Required skills:
- Organizational: accurate, diverse and well-structured

- Education: College or University diploma in fields like Business, Trade or Agriculture & Food
- Experience: 5-10 years of experience with managing a foreign entity or department, perferably in China. Experience with tasks such as file management, financial management, import, managing a bi/multilingual work environmend, account management
- Language: excellent command of English and Dutch. We have a strong preference for candidates who are fluent in Chinese (Mandarin) in speaking and writing
- Personality: enthousiastic, bright, leading by good example, well organised, hands-on and no 9-to-5 mentality
